The 7th Annual Cooper Invitational Tournament took place in Memphis this past weekend, as delegations from 16 different schools across the nation converged on Tennessee in early-season tournament action For the 3rd time in the last 4 years, the YULA Panthers took home the top prize. After bowing out in last year’s quarterfinal to eventual champion, Chicagoland, the Panthers rolled through three straight Yeshiva League opponents, defeating HAFTR 51-32 in the quarters, Ramaz 49-39 in the Semis and North Shore 51-37 in the finals. For North Shore, this was the second straight finals appearance and second straight defeat in the process.
