Rabbi Benjamin Yudin, spiritual leader of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fairlawn, New Jersey, called in to this morning’s JM in the AM to deliver his weekly Torah address. Rabbi Yudin discussed the parsha of Chukas elaborating on the importance of hakoras hatov (feeling/expressing appreciation). In light of Rosh Chodesh Tamuz being observed on Shabbos and Sunday, thus The 3 Weeks and Tisha b’Av are on their way, Rabbi Yudin urged everyone to keep in mind the importance of every mitzvah we perform and to consciously work on our hakoras hatov.
