Nachum hosted Rabbi Elimelech Goldberg, founder and National Director of Kids Kicking Cancer to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss his amazing organization and his being nominated for CNN Hero of the Year. Rabbi Goldberg talked about how Kids Kicking Cancer came together, how its positive affects continue to spread and how he was brought to CNN’s attention. Kids Kicking Cancer is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides weekly classes for children, both inpatient and outpatient, in the mind-body techniques found in the martial arts. Our mission is “to ease the pain of very sick children while empowering them to heal physically, spiritually and emotionally.” The voting for CNN’s Hero of the Year ends on November 2nd so everyone is encouraged to go to the site and vote for Rabbi Goldberg. This will not only show appreciation for his work, but it will also shed a much bigger light on this incredible way to help people dealing with cancer. Vote for Rabbi Goldberg HERE.
