Rabbi Benjamin Yudin, spiritual leader of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fairlawn, New Jersey, called in to this morning’s JM in the AM to deliver his weekly Torah address. Rabbi Yudin discussed parshiyos Mishpatim and Shekalim elaborating on the special nature of this Shabbos and its relationship with the upcoming Holiday of Purim. Rabbi Yudin explained the importance of “mishpat” (judgement), the unique nature of the Jewish people and our emphasis on not harming others in any way. Conflict prevention is the goal rather than conflict resolution.
