In anticipation of next week’s Bike4Chai event and NSN broadcast, Nachum welcomed Moti Kest and Allan Lieberman to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss the ride, the fundraising and the exciting Camp Simcha finish line. “Bike4Chai is an exclusive cycling team of varying skill levels, who commit to train and raise money to benefit the children of Chai Lifeline. Bike4Chai will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, August 5th and 6th 2015. The event begins on Tuesday night, August 4th, and ends Thursday afternoon, August 6th. The route is as follows, Day 1: A breathtaking 100+ mile ride through the mountains and roads of Connecticut, New York and Northern New Jersey with approximately 7500 ft of elevation. The route will challenge even our more advanced riders, yet the SAG support and overstocked rest stops throughout the ride will make the ride doable and enjoyable for less experienced riders as well.
Day 2: After riding 65 miles and climbing approximately another 4500 feet, the Bike4Chai ride culminates in an extraordinary entrance at the world’s greatest finish line; dancing and celebrating with the children of Camp Simcha Special!
