Nachum highlighted a special trip to Nairobi, Kenya that was taken by YU students Chanie Shalmoni with Avital Levine. Chanie and Avital explained how their YU/CJF Mission to Nicaragua last year laid the groundwork for this incredible experience. They shared how they, as orthodox Jews had to navigate their observance in these spare surroundings while volunteering medical care to the local populace.
