The excitement in the air was palpable as Nachum Segal kicked off a historic week of broadcasting this morning by presenting JM in the AM live from JFK International Airport with Nefesh B’Nefesh (NBN) and 350 Olim as they prepared for their journey home. Nachum interviewed Rabbi Josh Fass of NBN, discussing a number of issues and getting a 50th Charter Flight round-up. Nachum also spoke with several Olim, past and present getting their perspective on the major step that brings them closer to the future of the Jewish people. It was a great morning of Jewish radio that set a context for this historic week at the Nachum Segal Network.
The schedule for the rest of the week is as follows:
- JM in the AM from Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday, 8/13 (6-9 am ET 91.1FM jmintheam.org) with a review of the NBN flight.
- On Wednesday, 8/14 Nachum visits Yeshivat Sha’alvim and Sha’alvim for Women. The broadcast from the yeshiva will be live on Wednesday morning and the webcast with Nachum Segal and Miriam L. Wallach from Sha’alvim for Women will air Noon-3 ET on Thursday (jmintheam.org).
- On Thursday, 8/15 Nachum visits & broadcasts LIVE from Ohr Meir U’Bracha in Jerusalem (Thursday, 6-9 am ET)
