Nachum welcomed Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, back to JM in the AM this morning for the Weekly Update. Nachum and Malcolm began this week’s live Update by emphasizing the importance of instilling in our children knowledge of our history, and a sense of communal responsibility.  They covered a number of timely issues including: recent earthquakes in Israel, elections in Jerusalem this week, Rabbi Shteinman’s physical condition after being attacked this week ,  the United States, again being accused of spying on our allies, the latest news out of Syria and Iran, and much more.
