Nachum welcomed Rabbi Shimshon Jacob of The Kemach Institute in Jerusalem to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss the institute and how their unique approach to the “gap year” in Israel promises to benefit many young men for years to come. “The purpose of the Kemach Institute is to create a goal oriented and experiential educational opportunity in which we provide students with a comfortable, meaningful learning environment, while at the same time training them with the skills to produce real world accomplishments in various trades. The focus is to provide quantifiable targets both in the Judaic and professional skills areas of the program in order to allow every student to perceive their growth and accomplishment. We will use these accomplishments to fuel the development of personal success and constructive self-confidence, befitting the next generation of Jewish Leaders.”
