Nachum welcomed Yitzchok Rowe, coordinator of Queens Hatzolah, to this morning’s JM in the AM to preview the Queens Hatzolah 2018 Premier Men’s Event with OHAD coming up on July 23. Queens Hatzolah was founded in 1978. After witnessing the success of Chevra Hatzolah in Brooklyn, seven Queens residents decided to bring the organization to their neighborhood. In 1979 they began transporting patients by station wagon and in 1981 they purchased their first ambulance. From these humble beginnings, they have grown into the current multi faceted organization with top-of-the-line training, equipment, and ambulances.
