In anticipation of OHEL’s moving into the new OHEL Jaffa Family Campus in Brooklyn, Nachum welcomed OHEL CEO David Mandel to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss this historic event that will enable OHEL to take their already incomparable work to the next level. Nachum also welcomed Rachelle Rosenberg to the program to preview the 4th Annual OXC – OHEL Xtreme Challenge Classic.
From the OHEL OXC website:
“Get ready for the 4th Annual OXC – OHEL Xtreme Challenge Classic – Sunday, May 27th, 2018 – which will be at the beautiful site of Camp Kaylie! Hundreds of participants will run, climb, jump, crawl, and muscle their way through the Xtreme 5-mile and 1.5-mile obstacle course. Separate start times/waves for elite, men, women, teams, and families are available. Every participant will be challenging their body & testing their limits in support of children and adults with disabilities that face greater challenges every day.At OHEL, we serve individuals that struggle every day with different life challenges. From extreme circumstances (crises) to day-to-day challenges, OHEL is there to support our community. OXC Classic is your chance to do something Xtreme! (Not like all those people who run marathons…kidding!), to attain impressive bragging rights, to check something off your bucket list (if it’s not on your list, it should be).
New for this year is the OXC Classic Leadership Shabbaton for High School students that commit to raising $1,000 or more. If you are in High School, please join us for an inspirational and entertaining weekend sure to be an unforgettable experience. This weekend will definitely pump you up as you head into the big OXC Classic event on Sunday!”
