Congratulations to the science team of Ma’ayanot Yeshiva H.S. for Girls in Teaneck, NJ who placed first in the United States division of the Gildor Family Projects and Inventions Competition! This victory marks the first time an all-girls school has taken first place in a national science competition for Jewish day school students. Nachum welcomed Mr. Noam Weinberger, teacher of biology, physics, and science research at Ma’ayanot to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss the team, the competition, the experiment the girls created, and more. Mr. Weinberger explained how the incredible enthusiasm and dedication of the team made this victory possible. The Ma’ayanot team now heads to Israel to compete with their top teams and we wish them the best of success!
