Nachum welcomed Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, who called in live from Spain to JM in the AM this morning for the Weekly Update. Nachum and Malcolm began this week’s live Update with a lengthy look at Spain’s role in the European Union vis-a-vis their relationship with Israel and the Middle East. They covered a number of other timely issues including:  rising anti-semitism in European countries, European Parliament President Martin Schulz sparking an uproar in the Israeli Knesset, Abraham Foxman’s announcement that he will be leaving the ADL, the world Jewish communities’ ability to leave their countries and make Israel their home and much more.
