Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner is in the middle of leading a delegation to Israel to research how cities such as Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are promoting businesses focused on high-tech and bio-tech, in addition to other industries like cyber security. Nachum Segal welcomed Mayor Turner to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss the goals and progress of the trip. As the city of Houston works to shape a still nascent hi-tech sector, its mayor is seeking inspiration from the Israeli innovation experience.
