Rabbi Benjamin Yudin, spiritual leader of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fairlawn, New Jersey, called in to JM in the AM to discuss the Torah portion of the week. This week Rabbi Yudin discussed Purim and Parshas Zachor elaborating on the various laws and customs of the Holiday. Rabbi Yudin spoke about the proper perspective with which to approach this most joyous Holiday and reminded everyone who might be planning on using alcohol to enhance their Purim festivities to do so responsibly, in a way that leads to kiddush Hashem (sanctifying God’s name) and not chillul Hashem (desecrating God’s name).
