Rabbi Benjamin Yudin, spiritual leader of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fairlawn, New Jersey, called in to JM in the AM to discuss the Torah portion of the week. This week Rabbi Yudin discussed Parshas Vayikra, elaborating on the importance of a community’s chevra kadishah ( Jewish Burial Society) and its relationship to this Motzei Shabbos, zayin Adar (the 7th of Adar). In addition, Rabbi Yudin emphasized the importance of Jewish continuity and showing appreciation for the important work of JM in the AM by pledging support during this year’s fundraising marathon.
