Rabbi Benjamin Yudin, spiritual leader of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fairlawn, New Jersey, called in to JM in the AM to discuss the Torah portion of the week. This week Rabbi Yudin discussed parshas Va’eira elaborating on the difference between Moshe’s interaction with Hashem and the avos’ interaction with Hashem when things seemingly didn’t go well. Rabbi Yudin explained an important teaching of the Chofeitz Chaim, that “we can accept a difficult situation as being bitter, but not bad.”
