The NYC Marathon will be taking place this Sunday, November 3 and that means that the 30th Annual Minyan For N.Y.C. Marathoners will be taking place on Sunday morning at Fort Wadsworth, the marathon staging area on Staten Island. Nachum welcomed Peter Berkowsky to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss the storied past and present of this international minyan. Due to Rosh Chodesh observance, there will be a Torah for the three minyanim that will be starting promptly at 7:15, 8:15 and 9;15 to correspond with the different marathon starting blocks.
