Nachum welcomed Dovie Maisel, Vice President of Operations for United Hatzalah of Israel, on this morning’s JM in the AM to look back at how United Hatzalah encountered the horrific events of the October 7 Hamas attack and how their life-saving services have been pushed harder than ever from that day until today. Now, more than ever, United Hatzalah needs our support so they can be at their best and most effective as Israel deals with the war in the days to come.

EMERGENCY CAMPAIGN FOR EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT
Our dedicated United Hatzalah volunteers have been tirelessly treating wounded in the south of Israel since the onset of this war. We need additional trauma kits and protective vests to in order to save more lives. Please help us protect those who protect us. Give today.
On Shabbat morning, October 7, at 6:20 a.m., Hamas terrorists crossed Israel’s border, infiltrating southern towns, and killed more than 1,300 people, kidnapped more than 150, and injured thousands. At the same time, Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israel. In this state of war – unlike anything Israel has experienced since the Yom Kippur War – Israel needs your urgent support. We are raising funds for desperately needed medical supplies and protective equipment for our volunteers so that they can continue to save lives.
We have increased our goal to raise $49.6 million in order to fully equip 7,000 United Hatzalah volunteers with protective vests and helmets, oxygen tanks, defibrillators, trauma bandages, and tourniquets. These supplies can be ordered and delivered immediately to ensure that UH medics on the front lines have everything they need to respond to the ongoing attacks. The time is now. Your financial support today will ensure the safety of our volunteers and save lives in Israel.
