Nachum welcomed Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman, Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, to this morning’s JM in the AM to get an get an update on our brothers and sisters in Ukraine and to preview Sunday’s Mitzvah for Ukraine event in Teaneck, NJ.

Mitzvah for Ukraine is the non-profit fundraising arm of the Office of the Chief Rabbi. The organization operates in order to support the Office’s extensive humanitarian work including overseeing soup kitchens, orphanages, medical clinics, and schools.

Mitzvah for Ukraine is dedicated towards supporting all Ukrainians in need, regardless of race, religion, or origin with access to shelter, food, medical treatment, educational opportunities, and trauma treatment programs.
