Nachum welcomed Batsheva Haber of Kehilat BaBayit Katamon to this morning’s JM in the AM to highlight their important work in Israel and to let the listeners know how they can take part in that work by supporting BaBayit in their Causematch Campaign going on now.
About Kehilat BaBayit Katamon:
Four and a half years ago, a group of young Olim recognized that many of the young people that leave behind friends and family and move thousands of miles away to come back to our true home were really lacking a sense of community.
Fast forward to today; b”H BaBayit is a thriving community with dozens of volunteers, helping organize hundreds of events and opportunities for communal involvment for thousands of young Olim in the Jerusalem area.
BaBayit brings people together and makes connections. People have found their future employment at BaBayit and even their spouse!
Whether it’s a simple Shiur, a Tiyul, an uplifting minyan or a fun night out making some pottery, BaBayit is helping to build a warm, caring and cohesive community for all!
