Nachum continued his amazing week in Israel with a live broadcast from Yeshivat Sha’alvim this morning. “Yeshivat Sha’alvim was established in 1961 as a military outpost yeshiva.  With the liberation of Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria in 1967 Sha’alvim became a hesder yeshiva, where Israeli students combine intensive Torah study with active service in the Israeli Defense Forces.”  Nachum spoke with a number of the distinguished faculty members, as well as several of the students, both new and returning to get a comprehensive look at the role this renowned Torah institution is playing in the future of the Jewish people.  A webcast with Nachum Segal and Miriam L.
