Nachum welcomed Rabbi Ozer Babad to this morning’s JM in the AM tp discuss the 1225 Drop-in-center, a project of the Jewish Heritage center, and their fundraising campaign at Dryveup.com.
From the 1225 website:
The 1225 Drop-in-center, a project of the Jewish Heritage center, is a state of the art, 3,000 sq. ft. facility located on 39th st, in the heart of Boro Park. At the drop in center young Chasidic adults can find a safe and warm environment regardless of how they look or behave. When youth walk into the doors of the drop in center they immediately feel like they belong. Through our array of services, listed below, they can find guidance leading to a healthier, more productive and fulfilling life.
Mission
The mission of 1225 is to enhance the physical, emotional and spiritual development of disenfranchised Chassidisha Youth. We provide safe environments where everyone feels loved and appreciated regardless of their actions and external appearance. Our goal is to help each individual that walks through the doors at 1225 to develop the tools to live a healthy, productive and happy lifestyle.
