In honor of the commemoration of Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day this Sunday night and Monday, Selfhelp Community Services and Yeshiva of Flatbush invite everyone to Witness Theater at Yeshiva of Flatbush for an historic and moving experience that aims to “celebrate the resilience of the human spirit.” Nachum Segal interviewed Elihu Kover, Vice President for Nazi Victim Services at Selfhelp Community Services, the largest organization serving Holocaust survivors in North America about the organization and this powerful event. Ever since their pioneering days of supporting Holocaust survivors seeking refuge in America, throughout their distinguished 75 year history, Selfhelp has been dedicated to enabling the elderly and other at-risk populations to live in their own homes, independently and with dignity. This Sunday’s program begins at 7:00p.m. and will take place at Yeshivah of Flatbush, Joel Braverman High School Auditorium, 1609 Avenue J, Brooklyn, New York.
