Rabbi Benjamin Yudin, spiritual leader of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fairlawn, New Jersey, called in to this morning’s JM in the AM to deliver his weekly Torah address. Rabbi Yudin discussed parshiyos Vayakhel, Pekudei, and Parshas HaChodesh elaborating on the significance of the Jewish people’s role in “controlling time” with the commandment of bearing witness to, and sanctifying the new moon every month. Rabbi Yudin explained how our observance of the mitzvos plays a major role in the perpetuation of creation.
