In anticipation of Tuesday’s special Congressional election in NY, Nachum interviewed Dan Donovan, Staten Island District Attorney and Congressional hopeful on this morning’s JM in the AM about his district and his years of public service. The 11th Congressional District of New York will hold a special election for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015. The election will fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Michael Grimm (R). He resigned on January 5, 2015, after pleading guilty to felony tax evasion. This 2015 special election will be the sixth special election to take place in New York in six years. In four of the five previous special elections, control of the seats shifted to the opposite party. Nachum and D.A. Donovan urge everyone to take part in the democratic process by exercising their rights and vote in Tuesday’s special election.
