Nachum welcomed Miriam Manela, founder and Director of Thrive Occupational Therapy, LLC to discuss her work as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and to explore her new book “The Parent Child Dance.” Miriam’s approach to occupational therapy is based on her belief in the importance of relationships. Relationships are key to healing because dysfunction never occurs in a vacuum. Each child is unique and each parent-child relationship is unique. Add in siblings, friends, and teachers to the mix and voila! you’ve got complex and dynamic relationships.
