Nachum welcomed Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, spiritual leader of Bris Avrohom, to this morning’s JM in the AM to preview Bris Avrohom’s Annual Gala Bar Mitzvah in Israel.

Bris Avrohom will host its 12th Annual Gala Father & Son Bar Mitzvah Celebration in Israel. Each one of the participants took a course to prepare for his bar mitzvah. They will all receive a pair of Tefillin; a certificate of bar mitzvah signed by Rabbi Rabinowitz, the Chief Rabbi of the Kotel; and an aliyah to the Torah at the Kotel. Following the services at the Kotel, the families will travel to Kfar Chabad, where a festive dinner with a live band and a full celebration will follow. In addition each family will receive Tallit and Tefillin, Shabbat candles, a Kiddush cup and a challah tray, essential gifts that they will use for the rest of their lives.
