Nachum was joined by Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, spiritual leader of Bris Avrohom to preview the upcoming 42nd Annual Bris Avrohom Dinner.

Founded by the Lubavitcher Rebbe in 1979, Bris Avrohom was established to help the Russian Jewish immigrants who were settling in the metropolitan area. We are dedicated to bringing assistance and Yiddishkeit to thousands of diverse families through education, programming, counseling and daily services. Our goal is to help every Jew discover his heritage and grow to maturity within his Jewish community.
Over the years, we have expanded our staff and our activities, with branches located in Jersey City, Hillside, Fair Lawn, Brooklyn, NY and Zhitomir, Ukraine.
Bris Avrohom now offers synagogue services, preschool and Hebrew school programs, a day camp, educational programming in our centers, gatherings for seniors, classes on every level, life-cycle assistance, the spa-like Bat Sheva~Chaya Esther Mikvah, Jewish publications translated in to the Russian language, holiday celebrations, and so much more. To date, we have touched the lives of more than 30,000 individuals.
