The NSN continued its Israel residency this morning with a special JM in the AM broadcast from Efrat Medical Center with guests, Ateret Cohanim and One Israel Fund. Nachum hosted representatives from the center and the organizations, highlighting the vital roles they play in day-to-day Israeli life. “Situated in Efrat, the capital of Gush Etzion, the Efrat Medical Center (EMC) serves as the primary urgent care and general medical center available for the entire Gush-Hevron region, providing care to the nearly 60,000 residents. The Center centralizes the regional medical and emergency resources under one roof, thus, dramatically improving the quality and scope of services. The Center, a non-for-profit organization, has become a vital organ for area residents, saving lives and providing much needed affordable quality medical care.”
“Since 1993, One Israel Fund has been dedicated to supporting the welfare and safety of the men, women and children of Judea and Samaria as well as those who have been adversely impacted by the Gaza evacuation in 2005. These nearly 400,000 citizens of Israel are the vanguard of Israel’s security and sovereignty as a Jewish State.”
“Ateret Cohanim is a non-profit organization located in Jerusalem, Israel. It was established during the Festival of Chanukah 36 years ago by Matityahu HaCohen Dan, a young, idealistic veteran of the Israel Defense Forces. The aim of Ateret Cohanim was and still is to fulfill a generations old dream of rebuilding & securing a United Jerusalem, strengthening our Jewish roots and reestablishing thriving Jewish communities that are centered around educational institutes in and around the Old City of Jerusalem.”
