Rabbi Benjamin Yudin, spiritual leader of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fairlawn, New Jersey, called in to JM in the AM to deliver his annual pre-Yom Kippur address. Rabbi Yudin discussed the various laws and customs of Yom Kippur, putting the weight of the day in proper perspective. Rabbi Yudin emphasized the importance of approaching the day as an opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the almighty, rather than a day to be feared and avoided.
