Nachum had the pleasure of hosting Rabbi Dr. Meir Soloveichik live at JM in the AM this morning to discuss a number of timely issues including the upcoming Zahava and Moshael Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought presentation, a conversation with United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and renowned attorney and Yeshiva College graduate Nathan Lewin. The topic of the November 6 event is: “Synagogue and State In America: The Landmark First Amendment Cases of our Age,” and everyone is invited to YU’s Lamport Auditorium (2540 Amsterdam Ave., New York City) to take part in the evening. The discussion, part of YU’s “Great Conversations on Religion and Democracy” series, begins at 7 p.m. and will be moderated by Rabbi Dr. Meir Soloveichik, Director of the Straus Center.
