Nachum hosted Elliot Weiselberg, the man currently behind the weekly JM in the AM Yeshiva League Sports Update, live at JM in the AM this morning to discuss the 2013 Martin Weiselberg Memorial Hockey Tournament. The 2013 Martin Weiselberg Memorial Junior High Tournament presents the 8th annual games, to take place this Sunday, May 19th, 2013 in Yeshiva Har Torah in Bellerose, Queens, NY. Once again, the tournament field has been expanded to accommodate 8 teams in what will be the tournament to decide which Junior High team in the Metropolitan area stands above the rest. Four of the top teams have been selected from the MYJHHL and HAYMISH leagues, including 7 of the 8 semifinalists in this year’s playoffs. Nachum and Elliot discussed the various teams involved and how all proceeds from the event will go to Hatzolah. Admission is free, food will be sold by the Har Torah S.G.O.  Donations and sponsorships are welcome and encouraged. There will be raffles for great sports memorabilia and other prizes as well. Last year $5000 was raised and this year Elliot and everyone involved in the festivities are looking to top that mark ! Donations and sponsorships are welcome and encouraged.
