Nachum welcomed Avi Faivish, an industrious youngster from NY to this morning’s JM in AM to discuss his organization, The Bar Mitzvah Fund and the upcoming concert that will help raise funds for this great cause. From the organization’s website: “The Bar Mitzvah Fund, Inc. was created to provide financial assistance to disadvantaged families with the expenses for the Jewish ritual of becoming Bar Mitzvah. A Bar Mitzvah is when a Jewish boy turns thirteen and becomes responsible for fulfilling all of the biblical commandments. The fund assists parents with the financial burden thus allowing all to enjoy this momentous occasion.”
