With Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day coming up this Monday, April 28, organizations and communities around the world will present programs to help remember and commemorate the atrocities that were perpetrated against the Jewish people and the world. To that end, Nachum welcomed Edwin Black & Dr Wallace Greene to this morning’s JM in the AM to put the spotlight on the annual Holocaust memorial program of the Jewish Federation of Northern NJ. This year’s program, taking place this Sunday, April 27 at Shomrei Torah Congregation in Wayne, NJ will feature keynote speaker Edwin Black, the award winning author of IBM and the Holocaust who will discuss his important book and present a chilling photo exhibit that will shed light on on IBM’s intricate involvement in the Holocaust. There will also be a candlelight procession, a Yiddish speaker, and six survivor stories. The event is free and open to the public.
