Nachum welcomed Larry Spiewak to the studio during this morning’s JM in the AM to highlight the Council of Jewish Organizations (COJO) of Flatbush’s night out with the Brooklyn Cyclones. This amazing fundraising event, taking place on Wednesday night, July 29 will not only help support the great work of COJO but will also provide an evening of entertainment and great food for the entire family. The COJO of Flatbush, established 33 years ago, is an umbrella agency for over 220 affiliated member organizations serving the Greater Flatbush community and its environs. Since its inception, the agency’s mission has been to identify and address the needs of the disadvantaged, alleviate the plight of the poor, and serve as the oasis of support and assistance for the community. Through its many and diverse programs, we provide services to the disadvantaged and those of low-income. We assist all those clients whose financial, housing, family, and living situations have become destabilized, and provide the necessary assistance to render these conditions stabilized once again.
