Nachum welcomed Dr. David Lazerson A.K.A. “Dr. Laz,” teacher, author, musician, peace activist and International Teachers Hall of Fame member to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss “Crown Heights, 25 Years Later.” They talked about the 1991 Crown Heights riots and the aftermath that saw Dr. Laz and a group of people he worked with, helping to increase the peace between the Jewish and African American communities in the neighborhood.
