In honor of Camp Morasha’s Incredible 50th year celebration, Nachum welcomed Jeremy Joszef, Director of Camp Morasha to this morning’s JM in the AM to get the latest camp news and preview their upcoming concert event. For a half a century, music has been at the core of the Morasha experience. From Shiria to Shabbat, Color War to camp plays, the ram kol to a kumzits — it’s often the songs from a camp experience that triggers the most tangible memories. For their 50th anniversary celebration, the Morasha staff thought it would only be appropriate to celebrate their fifty summers through song.Whether you’re an alumnus, camper, parent, staff member, or someone who simply loves music — you’re invited to join Morasha on Motzei Shabbat, February 22 for the biggest event of Camp Morasha’s history. Through music and multimedia, their star-studded lineup (Abie Rotenberg, Baruch Levine, Eitan Katz, Benny Friedman and Edon Pinchot) and surprise alumni musicians will tell the story of Morasha. Following the concert, the entire audience is invited to a gala dessert reception to reconnect with camp friends and staff. The event will be taking place at the Purchase College Theater in Westchester, NY, starting at 8:15pm and promises to create an evening to remember.
