Nachum hosted Rabbi Yaakov Lehrfield, spiritual leader of the Young Israel of Staten Island and, with his wife Leah Lehrfield, a recipient of the Community Leadership Award at this year’s OHEL Gala on this morning’s JM in the AM to put the spotlight on OHEL’s great work and to preview the upcoming OHEL Gala. The 46th Annual OHEL Gala will be taking place on Sunday, November 22 at the New York Marriott Marquis and everyone is invited to come on out for a great evening that helps support the vital work of OHEL. Since 1969, OHEL Children’s Home and Family Services has served as a dependable haven of individual and family support, helping people of all ages effectively manage disability, surmount everyday challenges, heal from trauma, and manage with strength and dignity during times of crisis.
