Week 2 of The JM in the AM/WFMU 2015 Fundraising Marathon has begun! Marathon proceedings run from 6am ET on Monday, March 9 until just after 9am ET on Friday March 20. It is an exciting and entertaining 2 weeks of programming that supports the backbone of great Jewish Radio and makes all of our great programming possible. Marathon 2015 Day 9, 03/19/2015
Excitement was in the air during the penultimate day of the JM in the AM fundraising marathon this morning as many listeners and special guests came forward to express their support for JM in the AM, the backbone of great Jewish radio. If you or someone you know has not yet joined the ranks of the supporters by pledging, we urge you to do so now! Guests to today’s program included the Zomick clan, Avrumi Finkelstein, host of NSN’s Saturday Night Segal (Saturdays, 9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET), Leon Goldenberg with Rabbi Yisroel Mayer Merkin on behalf of Shalom Torah Centers, Larry Spievak and Rabbi Steven Finkelstein with a group of enthusiastic student representatives from Torah Academy of Bergen County (TABC) in Teaneck, NJ. The total at the end of Day 9 of the Marathon is $165,535.

Marathon 2015 Day 8, 03/18/2015
Day 8 of the JM in the AM fundraising marathon saw several long-time, legendary JM in the AM supporters stop by the studio to help Nachum encourage the listeners to pledge their support for the backbone of great Jewish radio. If you or someone you know has not yet joined the ranks of the supporters by pledging, we urge you to do so now! Guests to today’s program included JM in the AM staff members Mayer Fertig and Randi Wartelsky who were on hand to read pledges. In addition, Nachum welcomed Phil Rosen, live via telephone to discuss yesterday’s elections in Israel and to encourage everyone to support JM in the AM, the incomparable Ding, Chaim “Lobo” Silber, Dr. David Hirschorn, legendary producer Sheya Mendlowitz called in, Jewish music star Benny Friedman and Mrs. Aliza Blumenthal with a group of enthusiastic student representatives from Bruriah High School for Girls in Elizabeth, NJ. The total at the end of Day 8 of the Marathon is $137,201.
